VCP

So, part of my work at the moment includes virtualisation (yes, with an S) using VMware ESX. A couple of months back, I did one of the official courses. Then a few weeks ago (actually, the day after the VMware Time Bomb issue), I did the exam, and managed to pass.

Today, the certificate was waiting for me at home, so that’s me a VCP now.

Welcome

Ok, finally going to think about using this. So, welcome.

Technically I guess, this is my blog. I don’t really like the term blog.

Anyway, if I post to this, then in general it’s probably going to be IT related stuff, as that’s the area I work in.

It’s likely to primarily stuff for my future reference (hints, tips etc) and as such maybe simple, obvious and quite possibly not what you agree with.

If anyone stumbles over them, then I make no guarantee of accuracy, reliability etc and take no responsibility for problems encountered. You (should always) test first, and use at your own risk. Oh, and it goes without saying, but have a known good backup, and recovery strategy.
